The inspiration

I was brought up in typical village where most people had little knowledge about the values of sport. I was very enthusiastic & committed to sports (especially football) as a child; but unfortunately my mother was quite strict, and did not see the benefits of playing, so stopped me pursuing my sporting interest.
The continuous punishment I received anytime I dared to play sports was a huge deterrent, and eventually stopped me playing at all. Sadly, I was forced to give up on my dream of becoming football star of the future.

At the time, there was no one around to create the opportunities for young players to achieve their potential, give them a chance to shine, and to support me to improve and develop. Regrettably, myself (and probably many other young players) missed our chance.

Having reflected on the ordeal I experienced as a child, and inspired by the regrets I have of not being able to chase my dreams; I realized that if no one volunteers to coach & support young players of today, then history will just keep on repeating itself.
To give young players a better chance, and a shot at becoming the stars that they dream of being, I decided to establish Dynamo FC to begin with. My vision is to use sport as a cause for positive social change and development as I have realized that the impact of sport on society is invaluable.

Since 2006 we have been helping players to improve and enjoy the beautiful game of football. We also use football as a way to facilitate education and personal development amongst our players, since we’ve found football to be the best way of engaging and captivating young people. We aim to help every young player to fulfill their potential and have every opportunity to succeed.
So far we’ve already achieved remarkable success in our squads…Dynamo has produced six players playing professional league (2ndtier) in Ghana, and we’ll keep on striving to do more!
My profound gratitude to KickStart Ghana for all their support and commitment to Dynamo FC.
I’d also like to use this opportunity to pay tribute to the late Gafa; for his selfless commitment to my dreams!
