HO DYNAMO FC MAKE HISTORY AS INAUGURAL VOLTA SUPER CLASH CHAMPIONS

Ho Dynamo FC have etched their name into the history books after emerging champions of the maiden Volta Super Clash, defeating Yadzo Oti Warriors FC 5–4 on penalties at the Ho Sports Stadium on Saturday, October 31, 2026.

In what proved to be a fiercely contested encounter, both sides battled through 90 minutes without finding the back of the net, with the game ending goalless despite opportunities at both ends.

The intensity of the contest was reflected in the disciplinary challenges, as both teams were reduced to ten players following a red card apiece in the second half.

With neither side able to break the deadlock in regulation time, the encounter was decided through a penalty shootout.

The shootout delivered further drama as both teams successfully converted their opening four penalties, forcing the contest into sudden death. However, Ho Dynamo FC held their nerve when it mattered most, securing a 5–4 victory to claim the historic inaugural trophy.
